Happy 2011!! I’m probably one of the few who spent new years sober even though I was up all night too. I spent my new year’s eve packing into the crack of the first dawn of 2011. *epic music* Then I spent the rest of the day on the road with a massive headache, and finally unpacking all that crap I just packed less than 12 hours ago~

… Yeahhhh another work term. Looking back on old entries, just 2 entries ago I was talking about leaving Ottawa and not knowing when I’ll be back again. lol yeah well… here I am. -_- Doing something new this time though! To be honest I appreciate the familiarity of the city a second time around.

As for new year resolutions, hm! I guess draw more, among others. Yes yes, this is the 101st time I’m posting this drawing. Buuuut the last time I posted it looked like this, which stayed that way for 2 years until this Christmas break at home. =D I finally invested in a Moleskine sketchbook as well, and even lugged my easel and some drawing stuff to Ottawa with me. Hopefully this time I actually will draw more! The goal is to fill this Moleskine by the end of the year. JUST ONE. 104 pages.

…And in doing so, I will probably finally blog more often as well. “Orz 2 birds with 1 stone! whoo!

There is something familiar about being awake after 12AM and listening to old music and… drawing.

… Yeah I read too much about religion tonight. I don’t know how Arts students read through pages and pages of this I swear I have the attention span of a cat.

The closest I came to drawing in … at least 2 months. (I think, I lost track.) Attention span no longer existent at the library past midnight, and a model who couldn’t sit still for more than 10 seconds. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee

Tonight is probably the last relaxed (relatively) night of sleep I’m going get in the coming week until next Friday. Don’t you just love finals.

I’m going to Ottawa for my work term in May! Lonely birthday will be lonely.

Besides the fact that this looks NOTHING LIKE HER…. this is Jingna. But a few years back. 3-4 years? I had the insight back then to save some images from her website during her developing phase, before she completely transformed into the awesome sauce that she is today. (Otherwise known as I’m A Creepy Fangirl yes.) Yeeeeeee I’ve been following her stuff for a while. So happy her postcard collection is out!! Going to buy it the next time I remember to carry my credit card upstairs. (.. Yes I’m too lazy to go back downstairs once I’ve settled in my bed, stfu.) It would make a happy friend to my copy of “Something Beautiful” LE from last Winter. =D /fangirl

But otherwise, this is a “speedpaint” gone wrong. But paraphrasing Sharon, I guess 2.5hrs is speedy compared to the usual 6hrs+ for me. =| I have rly short attention span excuse me.
