Kamio Misuzu from AIR. This is the “after” in a before and after comparison of the same drawing I did in 2006. If you want to hear the story on what happened in these 6 years you can follow the link at the bottom of the entry because I am too lazy to write it twice.
This drawing though!! … is once again the product of being overly ambitious but not really knowing what you’re doing. It looks hella shiny and dodged right? But actually, I painted it without the help of dodge… Facepalm. Regardless! It served its purpose of showing me what I need to work on, so maybe my later paintings will turn out better. (I keep saying this, but this doesn’t look any better than the previous Lightning picture. -_- blah blah etc) Progress gif time!!
Yeah I didn’t… try to fix that initial sketch at all. LOL. Whatever I was gonna paint over it! Haha.
