La Campanella

MAN. Crazy pianist, crazy composition, crazy composer. Respect. I’ve listened to many many versions of La Campanella and Yundi’s is one of my favourites. There’s just so much emotion in it, even if he makes some mistakes towards the end. Aya Nagatomi also does a really nice interpretation of it and is another young piano prodigy wtf why wasn’t I born with this gift. -_- I have the sheets to this song but it’s probably not going to happen this lifetime. Sigh… I need to get me a pianist LOL.

My neighbour family came over this weekend and the ahjusshi (lol he’s not Korean but dunno how else to describe him) picked up my glasses case and examined it with such care and great detail from all angles. He proceeded to ask me what it was and I was like “… my glasses case? .__.” (It… has Monokuro Boo on it!?) He was like, “Oh, I thought whatever’s around you would be high-tech.” LOL So I pulled on the cap of my case and demonstrated to him, “No, this piece of equipment is very easy to operate. You simply pull off the cap and it’s ready to be used.” LOLOL he’s so funny, ever since I showed him some things you can do with the MacBook Pro/iPod Touch, he’s been amazed by technology haha.

I was going to do a review of the Review Report of PDEng (lolol) for this entry because it’s just so lol-worthy, and shows some of you lucky people what we UW engineers have to put up with, buttt my patience ran out for that. Maybe next time, haha.

    sweet new blog, digging the style =>

  1. AHAHA love your neighbor, so funny. My dad’s like that with technology too, the whole being amazed part.

  2. @Jinny
    LOL yeah, the funnier part is that he’s not technology illiterate (like my dad and yours it seems like), but he just assumed whatever black tiny thing young people have must be high-tech LOLOL.

    @lee
    Thanks!! :D

    I’m actually launching a new domain soon after retiring my 7-, 5-, and 5-year-old domains that I’ve retained since middle school soon, so, once I get that going I’d love to be link exchanges haha :)
